1980-1992

For 12 years, including a 1986 internship at IRCAM, for exhibitions or movies, Nicole Stenger worked closely with outstanding music composers from several countries: Romania, France and the United States, before integrating music files into her later work. Collaborations with composers were always amazing adventures into sound, creativity and also friendship. Nicole Stenger would bring her texts, visuals & often voice, and some vague ideas or music samples as raw material. They would turn this into something always unexpected, always magical. Beautiful work, beautiful people. µ
